Under the theme &#8220;Dancing to change, sing for peace&#8221;, the festival promotes a culture of peace and reconciliation among the people of a country beset by armed conflict for over two decades.<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/werrasonofficie\/status\/698405188290408449\/video\/1\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Goma-300x170.jpg\" alt=\"Goma\" width=\"300\" height=\"170\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-5200\" srcset=\"https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Goma-300x170.jpg 300w, https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/Goma.jpg 498w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><br \/>\nAn extract of the performance by Werra Son<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>The festival featured artists from the Congo and the subregion of the Great Lakes including Noel Ngiama Makanda a.k.a.
