{"id":37105,"date":"2025-10-30T10:25:49","date_gmt":"2025-10-30T09:25:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/?p=37105"},"modified":"2025-10-30T11:39:21","modified_gmt":"2025-10-30T10:39:21","slug":"mexico-equality-and-inclusion-secretariat-and-viral-network-launch-call-for-participation-in-the-hip-hop-for-peace-project","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/?p=37105","title":{"rendered":"Mexico: Equality and Inclusion Secretariat and Viral Network Launch Call for Participation in the \u201cHip Hop for Peace\u201d Project"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"float: left; width: 46%;\">\n<p>EDUCATION FOR PEACE .<\/p>\n<p>An article from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nl.gob.mx\/es\/boletines\/lanza-igualdad-e-inclusion-y-red-viral-convocatoria-para-participar-en-el-proyecto-hip\"> Government of the State of Nuevo Le\u00f3n<\/a><\/p>\n<p>To promote support for urban culture, community participation, and violence prevention, the Secretariat of Equality and Inclusion, the Secretariat of Public Security, the Viral Network organization, and the Bendito Estilo collective have invited young people and urban artists from across the country to participate in the national project \u201cHip Hop for Peace.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><center><a href=\"https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/hip-hop.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/hip-hop-300x217.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"217\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-37106\" srcset=\"https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/hip-hop-300x217.jpg 300w, https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/hip-hop-768x556.jpg 768w, https:\/\/english.cpnn-world.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/10\/hip-hop.jpg 900w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/center><\/p>\n<p>At a press conference held at the Independencia Community Center, Martha Herrera, Secretary of Equality and Inclusion, Pablo Almuli Cassigoli, Project Coordinator for Red Viral, and Jes\u00fas H\u00e9ctor Grijalva, State Advisor on Penitentiary Policy, presented the project that seeks to empower young people and make them protagonists of social change.<\/p>\n<p>The head of the Secretariat of Equality and Inclusion emphasized that the event aims to cultivate peace through artistic expression.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the first time since the Government of Nuevo Le\u00f3n has embraced urban culture, that we have managed to use Hip Hop as a public policy tool, as a reintegration strategy, and as an engine for building peace,\u201d explained Martha Herrera.<\/p>\n<p>She added that the voice of young people through music transforms communities from exclusion to integration. Representing Community Centers will be the group \u201cBETA HOUSE,\u201d comprised of Ricardo Gerardo Argaiz Garcia \u201cRK,\u201d Roberto Carlos Cruz Mart\u00ednez \u201cTyago Cruz,\u201d and Luis Alfredo Moreno Maldonado \u201cPloki Moreno,\u201d as well as solo artists Marvin Alexis Garc\u00eda Cida \u201cZoket,\u201d Jos\u00e9 Luis Mart\u00ednez Bermea \u201cRelyan Bermea,\u201d Ra\u00fal Dar\u00edo Villanueva Gonz\u00e1lez \u201cRadio 24 Siete,\u201d and Iv\u00e1n Yahir Castillo Ibarra \u201cEnece.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Hip-Hop for Peace project is a joint effort led by Red VIRAL and the Bendito Estilo collective, in partnership with the United Nations (UN), the National Commission for Mental Health and Addictions (CONASAMA), Youth Integration Centers (CIJ), the Secretariat of Security and Citizen Protection through the Decentralized Administrative Body for Prevention and Social Rehabilitation, and the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, at the local level, state human rights commissions, security secretariats through state prison systems, cultural secretariats, youth institutes, as well as civil associations and representatives of the private sector have joined the initiative.<\/p>\n<p>Young people, urban artists, collectives, and anyone interested in the call for submissions can send their original song, which should include a message of peace and be up to 5 minutes long.<\/p>\n<p>Participants must send their name, state, age, discipline, and a sample of their work before October 20th to hiphopporlapaz@gmail.com.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;  &#8211;  &#8211;  &#8211;  &#8211;  &#8211;<\/p>\n<p>If you wish to make a comment on this article, you may write to coordinator@cpnn-world.org with the title &#8220;Comment on (name of article)&#8221; and we will put your comment on line.
