His genuine enthusiasm and love for peace greatly expressed in the way how he conducted this concert with thousands of people chanting &#8220;S\u0103 fie pace \u00een lume&#8221; (Let there be peace on earth) associated\u00a0with moments of a dove play and Olympic flames stand as \u00a0symbols of hope and beauty of all Romanians.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Through its message, this concert has a great contemporary significance for the world we live in.<\/p>\n<p>P\u0103unescu\u00a0has passed away since 2010, but he left a great legacy to humanity: love for peace and living in peace.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nIn the last years of his life he lived in loneliness. I read that in his last poem, he wrote\u00a0&#8220;not\u00a0even GOD sits\u00a0at table with\u00a0me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>I wept.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EDUCATION FOR PEACE .
