After a two-year break, the nationwide Peace Council 2022 will take place again as a face-to-face event on December 10th and 11th, 2022 in the Philipp-Scheidemann-Haus in Kassel. Under the heading “On the way to a new world order – world war or socio-ecological turn to peace” we want to assess the political situation and discuss conclusions for our further work in the peace movement.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/center><\/p>\n

This peace meeting comes at a time<\/p>\n

\u2022 when the Ukraine war escalates into an open proxy war between NATO and Russia, while at the same time diplomatic negotiation channels and peace plans are blocked;<\/p>\n

\u2022 when a developing new world order goes hand in hand with a parallel threat to humanity through nuclear self-destruction and the prevention of the necessary socio-ecological turn to peace;<\/p>\n

\u2022 when the consequences of the EU economic war in Germany leads to massive social protests;<\/p>\n

\u2022 when an open debate on the topics mentioned is greatly restricted and there is also a great need for discussion within the peace movement.<\/p>\n
