The city of San Cristobal de Las Casas will host the First International Congress of the Culture of Peace, Necessity of the XXI Century, organized by the Faculty of Law of the Autonomous University of Chiapas (UNACH).<\/p>\n

The director of the institution, Jacobo M\u00e9rida Ca\u00f1averal, informed the press that the activities will take place on the 25th and 26th of October in the school facilities.<\/p>\n

Opening ceremony<\/strong><\/p>\n

The activities will begin at 09:00 hours, with the registration of participants and at 10:00 hours the opening ceremony with the participation of \u00d3scar Ortiz Salcedo from the Research and Studies Institute for Peace.<\/p>\n

Among the speakers, will be Isacc Monge Orossi, of the Judicial Power of Costa Rica; Emilio Carretero Morales, from the Carlos III University of Madrid, and Jacobo M\u00e9rida Ca\u00f1averal, director of the Faculty of Law of Unach.<\/p>\n

The meeting is organized by the UNACH, through the Faculty of Law, Campus III, and the Institute of Research and Studies for Peace.<\/p>\n

This activity will be divided into five thematic groups: Criminal mediation; Civil, family and labor mediation; Culture of peace from the perspective of law students; The institutionalization of the culture of peace and the teaching of the culture of peace.<\/p>\n
