We see peace as a continuous process and the leadership training will enable members to serve as role models in communities,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>ChildFund- The Gambia communication specialist Famara Fofana said the international child aid agency have been championing the cause of young people, promoting child welfare and helping vulnerable young people to become productive adults. \u201cMany people we supported are today manning important positions in the country. As peace ambassadors, let us propagate peace messages in the minds of young people.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Alieu Marr, child protection and advocacy officer of ChildFund also said young people are the productive assets of the society, saying they will continue to support the activities of Peace Ambassadors. \u201cWe must have peace of mind in ourselves to promote peace in communities and schools.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Peace Ambassadors Executive Secretary Yankuba Manjang said they have a role to play as young people to advocate peace in the nation, adding that the master camp will introduce the participants on leadership skills, peace and conflict management.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>EDUCATION FOR PEACE .
